A simple anime torrent downloader.

Features:

• Quickly download anime torrents from HorribleSubs in your terminal.
• Download the whole season in a single command.
• Use alias for anime with long name.

Note: The downloader doesn't work for older anime that has no torrent link. Support for magnet link will be added in the future.

Installation

You need Python 3.x.x to install and use the downloader.You also need Google Chrome (Support for Firefox and other browsers will be added in the future).

1. Download chromedriver and extract out the file inside the ZIP.
2. Type in your terminal: hsd --config driver_path <PATH TO CHROMEDRIVER>
3. Set your download path: hsd --config download_path <PATH>
4. You're ready to download some anime!

Often times I find that HorribleSubs does not upload a single torrentcontaining all episodes of an anime, or as they call them, batches.

This scraper will search all their shows given a search word (viacommand line or after prompt during program execution), and download allepisodes of the desired show in the highest resolution available.

• re-uses previous list of shows scraped from the site that gets savedin a text file if not expired

Requirements

• Software that can download content from a magnet link (e.g.:transmission, tixati, BitTorrent, etc.)

Install

pip install -Uhorriblesubs-batch-downloader

3. python setup.py install

Note: it will save the shows in the current working directory ($PWD) andattempt to load cached info from the HS site so it’s better to cd to a directorylike Downloads first.
