If you want to move your Fortnite directory (with a Launcher already installed) to a different drive/location, follow these steps:

Example Location switch from 'D:Epic GamesFortnite' to 'C:GamesEpic GamesFortnite'

1. Have a backup of the game folder 'Fortnite'. (The one including 'Engine' and 'ForniteGame'.)

2. Move a copy of the 'Fortnite' folder to the desired location.

3. Rename the 'Fortnite' folder in the new location to 'Fortnite123'.

4. Open up the launcher and click the cog next to launch and hit 'remove', confirm and uninstall Fortnite.

5. Click Install and choose the new location (in this example choose 'C:GamesEpic Games' so the install directory would be 'C:GamesEpic GamesFortnite').

6. Start the installation and cancel it shortly later, confirm the cancellation and close the launcher.

7. In the new location, delete the folder 'Fortnite' that was created from the short installation.

8. Rename the game folder 'Fortnite123' to just 'Fortnite'.

9. Start the launcher and hit continue, you then should be able to launch Fortnite from it's new location.

1. From the Tools menu select Options
2. In the dialog box that appears, click the File Locations tab
3. In the box under File Types select the type of file by clicking its name (Word files are Documents
4. Click the Modify button.
5. When the Modify Location dialog box appears, find the folder where you would like Word to store saved documents by navigating through the folders as you would in the Save dialog box.
6. Click OK
7. click OK in the Options box
8. Your changes will be made instantly.
